The Eight Common Face Shapes have specific features associated with the face shape; it’s a more precise “package” than the Five Element face shapes. You won’t always see such exact face shapes and features, but when you do, you’ll be intrigued at how accurate the personality traits fit those faces.

	Rectangle: long, strong forehead, flat ears, weak cheekbones Personality traits: intelligent, active, hard worker, self-control, aggressive, introspective Element: wood
	Round: strong bone structure, flat cheekbones and cheeks, flat ears, wide nose Personality traits: self-confident, mentally sharp, adaptable, sincere, influential, reliable Elements: earth, metal
	Square: wide forehead and jaws, strong bone structure Personality traits: stable, honest, generous, stamina, strong constitution, decision maker, resists authority, strong willed, physically strong, honourable Elements: wood, earth
	Oval: medium nose, flat ears, round cheeks and cheekbones, small or medium mouth, pointed or oval chin Personality traits: intelligent, altruistic, diplomatic, charming, perceptive, good social skills, romantic Element: fire
	Triangle: wide forehead, prominent cheekbones, normal or thin lips, pointed or oval chin Personality traits: strong mental acuity, ambitious, realistic, idiosyncratic, reticent Element: metal
	Diamond: prominent cheekbones wider than forehead and jaws, flat ears, regular nose, thin or medium mouth, pointed or oval chin Personality traits: strong authority, confidence, unpredictable, charming, perfectionist Elements: metal, fire
	Top Wide Trapezoid: wide forehead, narrow square chin, full mouth Personality traits: creative, astute,inventor, performer, outgoing, inventive ideas Elements: water, wood
	Lower Wide Trapezoid: narrow forehead, wide jaw, wide nose, small or medium mouth Personality traits: grounded, intuitive, strong willed, good instincts, physically strong, competitive, in charge Elements: earth, water
