The One Hundred Age Areas for Women
Written by Patrician McCarthy, author of The Face Reader
Take another long look in your mirror and find one or two markings, such as a bump, line, mole, protrusion, indentation or unusual colouration. Then refer to the chart on the left to see if those markings correspond to an age in your life when you experienced disharmony or a significant change in your everyday life.
When I was first learning Mien Shiang, I called my sister and asked her to check the top of my mother’s left ear. Sure enough, there was a small white bump at the eight-year-old area. We had heard many times the story of how my mother nearly drowned when she was eight years old, and how terrified of the water she still was all these years later. Now we saw the evidence of that trauma on her ear.
