Q. Is there any way we can say goodbye or say sorry, even though someone has died?
The greatest energy and healing force in the universe is love, and its power can transcend the barrier between this world and the next. So you can use the power of love, coupled with your thoughts, to connect with your loved ones on the other side. Thought is our channel to the spirit world. Start by putting a white light of protection around yourself and the one you wish to contact. Then say a prayer, asking for blessings from the highest level. Then connect with the person on the other side. With your thoughts, say whatever you need to express: tell them goodbye, say you’re sorry and ask for forgiveness, and so on. Then be quiet for a moment and listen to your own inner wisdom. You may hear a voice, or see the other person’s face, or feel their love coming back to you. Or you may just have a feeling of closure or completeness. Just know that your love has been received.
Q. Do those who love us, who have died, still take an interest in our lives?
Absolutely - those are the spirits who speak to me when I do readings for people. I believe that the people who are in our lives are there not by accident but because of our linkage through time and space. Therefore, our loved ones are always connected to us on one level. If a departed loved one pops into your head for no apparent reason, it’s usually because they’re nearby. Tell them you love them, and know that they are still part of your life.
