Joyce Hawkes, Ph.D., a biophysicist, past Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, and Fellow in the American Association for the Advancement of Science, has earned an international reputation for her scientific contributions in the field of ultra high-speed laser effects on cells. Following a near-death-experience she changed careers in 1984 and embarked on an extensive exploration of spiritual and healing traditions.
